MEDITATION Commentary Expectations (imagined) and reminiscences versus observation (actual) and awareness. Two waves (positive and negative things as peak and trough, one wave is mental model the other is perception). Having these match is more harmonious. Desire to keep/have positive and the desire to avoid negative -- such as pleasurable sensations and painful sensations. Both focus on conflict and are a form of attachment. You cling to the mental model, ignoring the reality.
